My husband and I have about 12,000 dollars in debt with 8 percent interest.
Are goal is to get them paid off in 3 years. We have an income of about 54,000 dollars before taxes. But I want to know, has anyone ever gotten out of debt? If so, How did you do it.
In the end, were bringing home about 38K after taxes.

Now my question is should we try to get out of debt by ourselves or do we seek outside help. well part 2 of that question is there outside help? something like a get out of debt and plan for your future guy.
