I have a small business and instead of making money I seem to be getting into more debt, how can I reverse the situation with out borrowing more money? The biggest problem is I have to live off the business it is my only source of income, so I know I drain the business but how else can I survive?

does anybody know about the protection on cc that they try to talk you into getting. will this affect credit rating… just trying to figure out what to do until i find work without getting evicted.

I acquired credit card debt in the years between 2001 and 2006 and have been making a point of paying my credit card bill on time since then, and making more than the minimum payment (far more when possible) in an attempt to get out of that debt at some point before my age reaches triple digits. My credit card company seems to arbitrarily apply mysterious charges after the fact, and the end result is that I’ve literally made $200 *LESS* of a dent into my debt than I thought I did, and for that matter than it appeared I did on the bank’s website a couple of days after I made the payment. It’s exceedingly frustrating and I’m at my wit’s end with these people. Can anyone tell me whether they recommend declaring bankruptcy or not (and why), or other options. (Bearing in mind that I have no, and I mean *NO* interest in acquiring other credit cards.) Thanks in advance…
Lowiezowie, thanks for the advice. These are things I need to look into because it’s more than a bit exaperating dealing with this as you know. It seems like they can and do fabricate reasons to charge extra fees without any real transparency or accountability.
